custom or quality fillet knife advice

I am looking to upgrade from my cheap old Rapala and Marttiini fillet knives. I'm not happy with the steel on both of them, nor the wood handle that keeps losing its finish and eventually rotting on the Marttiini.

Before going the custom route I would like to look into a quality production fillet knife, if such a knife even exists. Can anyone recommend something with good steel and a comfortable, durable handle?

Beyond that, what about customs? Are there any knifemakers out there who are renowned for there fillet knives?

Thanks for your time.

find yourself some old metal cutting bandsaw blade and make your own. i made a few for myself and i can fillet 50 or more bluegills and quite a few bass before i notice the edge needing touched up. i added a neoprene handle to one i made a friend and he loves it better than his rapala.
