So got the 11 in yesterday, after doing some fishin I got on it last night, stripped and did a lil polishing.

started at 100, then 150, 220, 250, 800, 1,000 and 000 steelwool

Not ''perfect'' mirror but she wants it ''shiny''...I think this is good compromise level between pretty-shiny/USER and mirror-polish/SAFE QUEEN

Lookin good bro.

doing it by hand is sure time consuming huh...
yeah...time-consuming, Very. I have a couple hours or so in it. Would hate to polish up a 9 that way! would take forever LOL

Nice, it took me a while to get my 14 that shiny, but it sure looks nice afterwards!

gonna try a pink cotton tshirt, also gonna toss in some black, like 3 layers of pink to 1 layer of black ratio.

LOL, It's what the owner wanted...''Shiny and Pink'' are the only two requests she had, everything else is up to my imagination. Doing jimping right now, took a ''hand break'' ;)

looks good man. when my wife held my BK11 she said, "oh this is a good size for me" (i can hear the dirty jokes now.. maybe i should say it was my 2 :) Anyhow, she currently has a tiny $1 Chinese flea market knife on her keychain. i am going to get her a Spyderco Bug or HoneyBee to replace it. maybe i'll just get her a measely little BK9 to attach to her keys and call it a day. ;)

Gfood work buddy, I'm sure she will appreciate it. Maybe soon I will have a little free time to work on my 7.

That's a perfect girl's knife. Make sure you warn her that it will patina and that it is a perfectly natural process.

finished the Jimping....pics added to OP

Did my 2 first as a practice run...dremel screwed up the first notch so I went to hand filing from then on, did my 14 next, to get my scale/pattern down for the 11.
