Custom order from JK - What do you think?

I have had an idea for a simple knife for a couple of months now. I have seen a few production knives that looked similar to what I had in mind but nothing that really intrigued me. So I drew one up and sent it to John and he gave me the a-ok!

Anyways, here is what I came up with...

I wanted a super simple knife that is IL legal. Also wanted a full handle (my hand is just about 4" wide). I think it will be a great knife for whittling and small bushcraft tasks.

Now what I am looking for is some suggestions. What do you think I should change, if anything?
 
Looks good to me, but I'm partial to John's Kephart style knives. I like a little longer blade but I don't have blade length restrictions to deal with. Resembles John's green river knife.

I think that's outstanding. I prefer a bit of a finger guard, but I really like the simplicity of this design! Get it convexed in 3/32" and you have a heck of a slicer for food and such!
 
Looks like a great design. A small, practical Kephart.
I carry a JK EWOK everywhere I go. It is wonderful. With it's blade length I can carry it almost everywhere. With a full size handle it would be amazing.
Great design.
 
Thanks for the comments. I think I will request the blade shape be a kephart now, seems like a good idea!
 
The Green River Kephart?

I like the clean lines of the GR & the Kephart blade so your design is a winner IMO.
 
How about John's EDC Kephart. Not sure exactly how the two match up size-wise but it's close to what you drew.
 
This has unfortunately been put on hold :-(. I got a very big unexpected bill in the mail the other day and the money I saved for a knife from JK is a good chunk of that bill. I checked with John first to see if he had ordered the supplies, if he had ordered the supplies I would have kept my order. Half of me wishes he would have ordered the supplies. Anyways, I am sorry about that John, I hope to recover soon and get that knife back on order!
