Custom order ?

About 6 months ago, I recieved an order for a knife by email. The order came from New Zealand, we discussed how to ship a knife to New Zealand. Any way to make a long story short. The knife is ready, but when I try to contact him by email, it just comes back to me. I don't know if I wrote it down wrong or if he doesn't have that email address anymore. The only contact info I got was the email address.
My plan was to wait a while to see if he will contact us. My question is, How long should we wait for him to contact us?
I would appreciate any suggestions.

Perhaps a more elaborate thread title woudl help to attract that person's attention ? "Custom knife" could be just about anything :)
 
Do you have a name?
Maybe do a search of bfc, usn, kfc with the name.
 
Perhaps if you post a picture or two of the knife, one of us will "remember" that we ordered it, and subsequently moved to the US, and that's why you can't get in touch with us :D
