Well, today I made some custom scales for my PM. I used some tropical hardwood a friend brought me from Southeast Asia.
The handle is now a tad thicker, more rounded, and has a more aggresive texture. It also looks cooler
It's not as durable now, but is still quite tough.
I like to choke down on the handle when chopping, even though the PM has a lot of leverage; it's just what feels right to me. The stock grips made this a tad uncomfortable. This handle feels fine in that grip.
