Just been using it.
It's mirror polished 1095 with blue whale bone.
Great fit and finish. Love it.

It came with a fish leather sheath.

Bought ir in Mar del Plata, a coastal turistic city in Buenos Aires, that's why the ocean materials.

The blade shape was interesting to me. Not very common, but usable. It has a strong point, a slight belly, and I'm fascinated with the handle and sheath materials. I never had something like whale bone and fish leather.

His "thing" it's to make blades with fishes, horses,etc, I don't know the english word...in spanish would be "calados en la hoja", calated? sculpted? he removes material from the blade, using the empty space as a contrast with the blade to create the figures.
