Custom Ruana 21A

Here are some pics of a new Ruana 21A, custom-ordered with a six-inch blade. (The normal length is five inches.)

And a photo with my 20B, which has the standard five-inch blade.

That's a mighty fine looking Ruana. A friend of mine has one, too, but he snagged one with Desert Ironwood handle inlays.

As I've mentioned to you earlier, Ken, I just can't get over how beautifully it balances in my hand, even with the longer blade. A gorgeous knife.

Ruana knives probably don't get enough love. They are a great hunting, camping ,hiking, field knife knife depending on the model you choose. Old school O1 steel that has been doing a great job for a long time.

My understanding is that it's 1095, not O1. Nothing wrong with that.
