From rests of may past SAK modifications I built a new knife and I like it a lot. It has awl from alu-SAK and two big blades. So I fulfill my many years whish. Alu-version awl is far more useful than 91 mm back spring version. Two big blades are very practical – you dont have to avoid some tasks that can damage cutting edge – one blade always stays sharp. Other tools (screwdrivers, openers, little blade, woodsaw, scissors) i use every day. If there would be phillips driver instead of corkscrew, it would be even better. The back spring awl I'll change into some kind of marlin spike.

Regards, Samek

very nice Samek! always good to see a mod to something you really like and want.

I personally like awls and I like what you did! the back-spring awl with the hole some use for sewing into hard/tough material (maybe leather?) and I like it but your mod/add-on is better, very good!

no wine bottles in Slovenia! ;)
some use cork-screw for the little cork-screw/screwdriver (as a holder for it), some for un-tying difficult knots, some for digging small holes, many things.

Nothing wrong with 2 main-blades (some like one plain, one serrated), nice work!

That's a nice knife Samek. I also like those awls that the alox SAK's have, they are really great to make small round holes through pieces of wood and for many other things.
