Custom SAR Need Help with ???

Bought a new Swamp Rat Knife from a friend that need some $$. He told me it was a Custom SAR Blade says Swamp Rat Custom Shop. Blade is half serrated 4 1/2 inches & Oal is 9 1/2. Gray smooth finish on blade. Any insight into how many were made and when. What is the value for new.

What does the handle look like? There have been several different SAR variants...not sure how many of each variant though.

Oh, that's a beauty. Blade material is SR101 our proprietary steel (a modified 52100). It has a Double Cut finish on the blade, which means it is similar to a Bead Blast but much finer grit is used to help seal the pores.
