Custom Scale Wanted

I am a big fan of Buck knives. I love all my Buck collection, # 277, 279, 395, 397, 415.
Here is my little request or suggestion for Buck company. Could you provide a checkering on 277's wood scale, like you got it on 415, or alt least sell some custom scales? I believe that will make 277/279 model perfect. :jerkit: Anybody agree?

Hi Kaze_So,

Welcome to the forum. First let me point out the symbol you put in is not a man rubbing his chin. It's called jerkit for another reason!!!!!! I made that mistake when I started posting here and you could offend some folks by mistake...if you know what I mean. You may want to take your knife to a custom knife maker or gunsmith for your custom checkering....just a thought.

I've always wondered why Spark left that particular emoticon in the Smilie list...Especially since the parts of this site outside Pirate's cove are supposed to be family oriented...Not the kind of thing I would want my kids getting used to seeing... :grumpy:

And you're right; it is highly inflammatory...it incites the kind of behavior that the Site Rules prohibit...

Welcome to the forums and thanks for the comments. I have to agree that the checkering would make the handle "more cool". I would like a pattern that matches my 270 rem.
