Custom Scales for 0550 Gen II?

I noticed that the Rick Hinderer designed "Frag Grip" Scales for the 0550 series are not suppose to fit the 0550 Gen II. Is this true and if so where can one find a nice selection of aftermarket scales for the Gen II version?

Not sure but I imagine they aren't designed to fit because the clips are different between the two knives. Same scale shape I believe just different hole orientation for the clip so they won't work correctly unless you drill your own holes.

They would not work if the clip is setup for left hand carry. For right hand carry aftermarket scales will work for both. Look on BladeHQ and you can find scales made by The Preacher (a member here). Kyrptoglow (also a member) makes some cool scales too (I have one). Rival Customs (also a member here, Rival1314) does really nice scales as well.

Thanks guys, I'll check them out...didn't even dawn on me (stupid of me) that others wouldn't fit due to the change in clip.
