Hey everyone,I am looking to pick up some nice micarta, or g10 scales in the place if the aluminum,,,I have looked around but the only thing I ever seem to find are the cuscadi scales,I would love to do this for under 40-50,,, any tips would be awesome, maybe even some pics if any of you have something you would like to show off!

Thanks in advance

It is highly unlikely to find scales for an axis lock for less than the 80-100 that Neuron has mentioned. The axis lock required extra milling to be done inorder for the omega springs to fit and work properly. If you can save up and pay the 80-100 I highly recommend Keyman here on the forums as he does amazing work an works extensively with benchmade knives. I just got a set from him for my 707 and they turned out amazing. You can pick your materials so you get exactly that you want.

here are pics of my 707

I second Keyman (I have a knife with him right now getting scales), but as neuron and blade fiend mentioned they will be above the $50 price range.

Thanks Blade-fiend & Rare blade!!
Here's a couple :D
(different knife; same scales)

I just ordered a 943 today so in the next month or so Keyman will be getting another message from me to be back on the list :D
