Any one know a good way to get custom scales for a 91mm Vic Swiss army knife. I’d love some nice G-10 or maybe Micarta scales but I don’t have any thing even approaching the skill to do it myself.

Something like this is what I had in mind.

Here's some I made myself.
You can get some preshaped (but not totally finished from Rotokid) at
www.sosakonline.com.
Hell, if I can make these, anybody can.
I don;t do carbon fiber and G-10 because I don;t have the proper breathing protection.

Well I’ve got a respirator. Realistically speaking what tools/methods would I need to shape G10 adequately.

A hacksaw, a dremel with assorted bits and sanding attachments, sandpaper, some needle files, an electric drill and bits. And some good ole grease of the elbow. Oh, and some good epoxy. That's all I have. Other power tools, like a 1x30 sander or a drill press are a bonus.

Go to www.sosakonline.com and check out some of the articles on modding. That's where I learned how to do it.

I posted some how to videos on youtube. Just search Mrrampro swiss army knife g10 mods and you should find the vids.
