Custom scales for BK9 on eBay

Hi guys, I would love nothing more than join the Becker lovers group but I want to get custom scales for a BK9 otherwise I won't buy it, I prefer it stripped with wood handles. There are some very nice looking custom scales on ebay for sale and I was wondering if it would be a good idea to buy it from the seller (Just go search "Becker BK9 Scales). If not, who's a good scale maker?

If I'm not supposed to say ebay, then sorrrrrrry.

I know tommythewho makes some great wood scales.
They may be the same scales you're referring to.
 
yep, his work is posted all over here and they are.....sweet.

Thanks guys, turns out it is his scales on eBay, will definitely need to buy a BK9 now. Sleep was difficult last night with all these knives circling in my head.

Just ordered the Ipe scales!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Funny thing is I don't even have a BK9 yet or even one on order.

Hi, has anyone ever seen any bk9 scales made with Purple Heart wood? Purple Heart is a hard wood to work with but really nice!
 
Thanks heavyfoldersarebest - for the tip. Darn I wish it was not so easy to buy stuff on "that site" ... I just ordered the Bubinga set for my 9. Good luck looking for the scales you want.

Love them so much, I bought another set, Bloodwood for a BK4 I am yet to purchase. I want a BK2 as well, if it weren't for those beautiful handles, I probably wouldn't even have bought any.
