Can y'all recommend some makers of custom scales for the Mini Griptilian, please? I don't even know what I'm looking for - just something different.

Suingab, Igorded, Deathofallthings, SPKetch
There are those (listed in no particular order) but I am Sure there are more who make them.

Each maker has his own methods, I believe Suingab uses a CNC to get some neat effects, the others are all various ratios of mostly machine to all hand shaped and sanded

All to be found in the link that Colorado supplied.

Kevin Wilkins in Germany makes titanium, aluminum and G10 custom scales.

Here's a set of his anodized Aluminum scales on my Ritter mini Grip

I'll throw out AWT (Applied Weapons Tech). I have a set on a full sized grip and I love them.

I got my OD Micarta scales from Cuscadi. "Ritter" refers to the Doug Ritter Mini Griptilian or full size Griptillian. Which happens to be this knife

Does Doug Ritter do something special to a stock Griptilian or something?

If you noticed in my pics, the blade is different from a regular Griptilian. 1. Blade shape is different. 2. Blade is stonewashed. 3. Different steel. They currently have M390 steel but previous version had S30V if I remember correctly.

The original AWT grips look great but I had a problem getting a solid and consistent grip. Of course my hands are almost always sweaty..... I ended up buying a pair of the new AWT Hive Pattern grips and all I can say is they are awesome! I have them on a Doug Doug Ritter Mini RSK (mini griptilian with a different/better blade).
