Howdy,
This is my first post. I have a Cold Steel 4" Ti lite with the aluminum scales. Whatever coating on the scales is beginning to flake off in places. I am wanting some scales made out of a solid material so there is no coating to ever come off. I am having a hard time finding a custom scale maker who can/will make me scales for the Ti lite.
I ran across a fella named Suingab whose work is amazing but he wont work with the Ti lite. I've done google searches but some of the responses are dated and no longer valid.

Can someone suggest or recommend a custom scale maker who might work with the Ti lite?
Thanks,

If I'm not mistaken, the Ti Lite uses solid aluminum handles. There are no scales to replace, as they ARE the handles.
Please correct me if I'm wrong.

They are solid aluminum and attach to a liner on each side. The aluminum is indeed separate pieces. I am calling them scales but I am new to this.

I didn't know the knife uses liners.
Just remove whatever coating is on the existing aluminum. No need to make anything new.

Bare aluminum can be satin finished or polished up like chrome.

I like the look of plain ol' black pretty well... or I was thinkin' of pearl white or pearl black...that is if I could find someone who would work with it.
