custom scales for zt 0808?

could anyone here make a carbon fiber scale for a zt 0808 or know anyone that could? I think that would really take this knife to the next level for me. Thanks.

That sounds like a good idea but would be quite expensive as the scale would have to be contoured. I have a 0450 and if the 0808 is built similarly with the bearings being recessed into the handle on the presentation side, that would also add to the cost and work needed as the scale would have to be counterbored to fit the bearings inside of it as well as the problem of the carbon fiber being too soft for bearings to run on them presenting the need for some kind of bearing race to be installed into the scale, adding more to the cost and complexity. Good knife pimpers are hard to come now as the really well known ones have gone on to making their own knives and I haven't heard much about knife pimping recently. Regardless of that, I hope you can find someone who can make said scales as I think that would make for an amazing knife. Best of luck with your search.

It's doable, I have the CF Viper Odino same construction, they use thrust bearing which is the same as the one used by ZT but with washers. I have the ZT 0808 and I love it, I wouldn't change to CF thou because the CF scale is very slippery on my ODino.
