Custom scales?

Anyone making custom wood scales for the full size BK's nowadays? I looked through the exchange - service providers and no mention of wood scales. I've used marathonman in the past with fantastic results but didn't get a response to a recent inquiry.

Thanks... I'm looking for something a little more personal though. I prefer to work with the vendor so I can pick my specific materials. I like the one-off unique type things .

Oregon F'aler does good work too. As does Jroden, if you could get him to do it.

Or you could make them yourself. I've made several sets, and it's not too hard, particularly if you have a little belt sander or something.

I agree with crimson. I made some for my BK2 and it wasn't as difficult as i thought it was going to be. Took some time but they turned out pretty good.
