CUSTOM SCHRADE?? WHO MADE IT??

I own a Schrade lockblade that has been detailed in every way. It has a jeweled blade, with etching on the back of the blade, on the frame, on the inside and outside of the lock. The bolsters are like a sterling silver or nickel.(I'm not sure) It has smooth bone handles. This is a beautiful knife, but I would like to know more about it. I bought it at a pawn shop in Dallas, TX for $30.00. Any information will be appreciated.

That is a customized factory knife, not a custom knife.

Your best bet would be to go Bernard Levine's forum and ask him.

I contacted Schrade and they said it was not a factory custom. They said to ask Knifemakers' Guild and see if anyone identified the work. I have pics if anyone wants to see it. Thank you.
