Pics of a lg custom seb by Dave Rydbom of Kingdom Armory. The scales were buffed after sculpting and then stonewashed. Dave added a db thumbstud and I have a Wilson Combat lanyard with Ti bead and silver tie bar on order to complete the look. I think it looks sweet and I can't wait to get it in my hands! I love it!! Especially the thumb studs. I have been wanting to do this with a gold anodized finish for about a year now.
Post pics when you get it in hand.
 
Wow - looks like they did a great job.

That is a very impressive piece.
 
Tempting for my small insingo. I have a samaritan on order with that finish so it would make a nice combo. Happy New Year!

Problem is I'm either wearing rubber gloves, Friskmaster gloves or winter gloves and the original thumbstud is a chore with these.

That is one hell of a great looking knife. As I said in another thread, I'm not a big fan (as far as looks are concerned anyway) of the Sebenza; but this treatment changes everything! Holy cow is that knife amazing. Good for you, congratulations.

I saw another one similar to yours that had been heat treat colored as well. Ever since I've been wondering how much something like that would run me for my own knife and where I could go to get something similar?

I certainly don't want to hijack your thread so if someone would prefer to PM me please feel free. . . .
