Custom Sebenza Sheath?

Hi guys, I combed through this forum and couldn't find an answer, so I'm hoping you can help. I have a small sebenza and have a mnandi coming soon, and I'm looking for custom sheaths for both. I'm looking for a slip sheath basically identical to the one that they come with from Chris Reeve, only I'm looking for them made from shell cordovan instead of leather. Do you know anyone who makes them?
Thanks

Hi XxdrpxX, I did see that thread, but when I emailed them they said they don't make sheaths from Shell Cordovan.

I know about Attila as well, unfortunately they do not make a slip case that would work with the sebenza on hand, and I bought a shell pen case from them last year, and they are extremely over priced for what you get. I own a lot of shell products. The slip case is such a simple design, just hard to find.

I just had one made by Gary W. Graley here on the forum. He is unbelievably prompt, courteous, and reasonably priced. I shipped the knife to him about 2 weeks ago and it's on the way back already. I highly recommend him. I'm not sure if he would do a double knife sheath, but I'd ask him.

He is going to be making a half-dozen more sheaths for me. Great guy.

Thanks Marthinus, but again, Vass doesn't use Shell Cordovan, I checked with them, they just use leather.
Thanks Jacob, I will check out Gary, is your sheath Shell?

I think you might struggle to find someone using shell Cordovan as it is to my understanding more expensive and offers little to no advantage over vegetable tanned leather for sheaths.

I just thought, you might want to contact GFeller?

Either way, if you get someone that will help you I would love to see the results.

It might be worth to get a hide and make one yourself at the end. Very rewarding process. Gary. W Graley did a great thread years ago on how to do it.

Thanks again Marthinus, I will check it out, might be a fun project. The advantage to Shell for me is the patina it develops over time that looks way different than vegetable tanned leather, also want it to match my wallet and shoes. Other then that, you're right, it may not have an advantage, I just want it! :D
