I bough my Sebenza about 3 years ago... It was a knife that I dedicated to EDC and it had done well. I wanted to customize it a bit so last spring I was pondering the idea of getting it custom engraved here in NYC. But every shop told me that if they screw up due to titanium I have to swallow the loss. So I went back to Mr. Reeve and we threw few ideas around and that's what came out:

My old user Sebbie was polished high, engraved and back has the lettering: 'God Bless America" and my shield number... It's not EDC anymore but my night out elegant knife that is envy of many of my friends who put in time at WTC.

This is my first post here so guys please take it easy on me :)

Matt thats one of the best looking Sebenza's I've seen.So who did the final engraving Mr.Reeve?

Forgot my manners.Welcome to Blade Forums Matt.Enjoy it and gain some knowledge like most of us. :D

Yes Mr. Reve was the one who did everything. His wife was also a great help in the entire process. They are outstanding people that made knife separation anxiety as easy on me as possible :D We pondered a few ideas including putting a small flag in the front but it would made a design way too busy and distracting so everything was kept super simple.

Awsome. That'll truly be a family heirloom. I know cost is irrelevant, but that must have set you back a bit?

yeah it didn't hit me all at once thou... originally I purchased a knife which was in a ballpark of $300 and later on I did the custom work which was $200... So yes it was expensive adventure (and well worth it) but since it didn't come in at the same time it was little easier on the wallet...

Not to burst your bubble or take anything away from Chris, but he did not do the engraving on your knife. Lisa has done several of those NY skylines-all uniques, meaning that she does each one from a pic that she hangs on her mill. It is quite an complicated process and she is a very talented lady. Check out Lisa Pick's on the web site to see more of her work.

Oh I know that and I value Lisas's work. It wasn't a unique special one of the kind design but very close to this which is picture I took (that I wanted on my handles anyway):

Engraving on the back was what made the knife one of the kind.

Thanks for sharing. Glad to hear you love your Sebenza as much as some of us here do.

What a tribute, and a very clever Idea! The fact that it fits with your life, and it is a custom makes all the more beautiful.
It is also a great knife to begin with.
