I am very excited about this sheath and wanted to share this with all of you. I emailed Wally a few weeks ago and asked him if he could make me a special sheath for my Hayes Tac-1. I sent Wally a picture, unsure if it was possible to make. The product that I received is incredible!! It completely surpassed my expectations. The sheath is a black nylon thigh rig with a kydex insert. The rig has three utility pockets. One of the awesome design features of this sheath is that it can be removed from the thigh rig and carried singly, without the 2 side pouches. The quality of the craftmanship is outstanding. It is one of the best examples of tactical nylon that I have ever seen. Take a look. Let me know if you have any questions. Maybe Wally will jump in this thread.

This is fantastic! I love Wally's Tac-1, and I remember when you first got that knife. Now you have a fan-damned-tastic carry system too. Looks like Wally is as good with a needle and thread as he is with a hammer and anvil!

Please give us a report after you've used it a good deal!
 
Calling that a sheath is an understatement, that is enought to contain a fair size survival kit. Very nice rig.

Thanks for posting the sheath Louis. My wife Sharon made it and is now sewing my kydex and nylon sheaths. This sheath will be an option for all my tactical knives in the future and will be on my site next week,

Yes, you can purchase a sheath at a later date for one of my knives.
I can also make a sheath for a different knife.
