I was told I might have more luck by posting this question here. I want to begin making my own sheaths. I have a lot of good ideas and might even make a few for forum members just to get some feedback. But before I can get started I need to know where I can buy sheath making accesories and tools. Materials like stainless push pins and industrial snap buttons. I'd also like to know where to purchase ammounts of un-cut sheath material like cordura, leather, and perhaps kydex. Any help will be appreicaited here.

I don't get anything when I dial that number. I can't even finish dialing it before my phone goes nuts and gives me a busy signal. Is that number correct?

You can't beat this company for leather. check out their friday specials and sign up for their emailing list. they'll send you an email every friday with all their specials or you can just go to their web site and check em out. They had some of the best leather I've ever bought on sale for $3 a foot. Thats about half what I've been paying. Take care! MIchael

L6,

You noted a cool place for leather. What terminology is used for the good stuff? I bought leather in the past from a local supplier/leather trader and the language is not the same (type of tanning, but of leather, etc.)

PS As for leather punches for the stitching, a trident can be handmade. It is after all just a knife...

Thanks,

Dan

They have anything you want, but I got 9-11 ounce vegetable tanned cow sides, natural color.

Thanks Guys! I have a lot of resources here now. Does anyone know where a guy might find clips. Such as the clips you find on the back of a boot knife sheath. So that a sheath can be secured without a belt strap. Thanks for all your help.

Go to www.ohiotravelbag.com and order a catalog. They have belt clips and a whole lot of other interesting items!
