custom sheath w/ loops for tools

Here is a sheath I made for a guy who sent the 2 tools with the knife.

I decided to do somethiing differant and stack 4 welts in this one. This allows for the handle to go down inside. The welts taper down to one past the handle.

I've been toying with the idea of a ceramic rod sharpener to put in a firesteel loop for a while now. It's good to see someone actually do it. :thumbup: Beautiful work

These are becoming more popular. I enjoy putting the extras on.
 
That looks great.
You say the welt tapers down to one. I imagine you go from 4-3-2-1. Is that correct or do you skip numbers? Do you have a pic from the side showing that? How long is the taper?

What about a pic with the knife in the sheath...so we can see how deep the knife sits in it.
 
Nice work. I like how the "tool-holders" are integrated into the welts of the piece.
