yep for a 650 nighthawk. Makael made it. great sheath far better than the factory one which doesnt work for my uses and I just dont care for at all.....
 
Does Dave at Horsewright have Buck fixed blades on hand or would you need to send your knife to him? Might be one advantage to Makael, as he owns just about every Buck knife ever made.
 
I have one of Makaels sheaths and it is fantastic. I would highly recommend him. He does some fantastic embellishments that really enhance the custom look of the sheath.
He will do from mild to wild.

I have on of Makael sheath from a Christmas giveaway. Excellent sheath. I wish I could post a picture of it.
 
Thanks guys. Going on 3 years since I bought my first piece of leather. Since then I've invested or acquired thru Craig all my leather working tools. I bought a large leather sewing machine, couldn't take hand stitching anymore.

I just got in from a 1100 mile round trip from Spokane to Billings Mt. We came home thru a small town outside of Phillipsburg. I stopped in a trading store. I was looking for Buck or Ruana Knives. In this store was hundreds of pelts and leather hides. I browsed thru his leather and found some of the nicest leather. It's from SB Foot tanning company. Beautiful rich leather from a US Tannery. I'm proud to use such nice leather from this company.

Makael, am I reading the die mark correct, 27.3 sqft for 73.19$?? If it is, that's a h*ll of a good price!!
 
I paid more than that but about half of what I would pay at Tandy
 
That's still good for that type of leather...Tandy is expensive and alot of the leather comes from England or elsewhere...
