Ealier today I emailed Buck and asked if the custom shop 110's came with the anniversary tang stamp. The answered an said they do not. I was suprised to say the least.

The custom 110 I received a couple of months ago came with the anniversary anvil etched on it.

Yup. That etch is identical to that on a ram's horn 110 out of the shop recently. Etching and not stamping. The blade steel was S30V so kind of hard on the tooling that does the stamping.

I thought someone posted pics of the anniversary etching on the blades. I'm going to send another email and be more specific. Thanks for your help

The S30v is the blade I want to get also. Do you think these blades and etching will be available till years end like I was told? Or should I send another email explaining that the blades are etched with the new 50th anniversary markings and check availabliity. Money permitting I want to try and order 3 custom knives this year.

The picture above is also ram's horn NS bolsters and S30V blade. It arrived in it's new home here in May. If you want a 50 year mark I wouldn't wait too long. I am currently waiting for a "No-Name" 110 that I understand was made in late 2013 with the 50 year stamp on it. It doesn't have Buck any place on the knife because it doesn't have the 50 year medallion on the handle scale.

I just received a 110 from the custom shop yesterday. It appears to be etched, not stamped, on four lines: Buck/Anvil Symbol/Custom/USA; the reverse is etched on two lines: Buck/Custom Shop

Exactly, but, used without box, papers or sheath. It will rotate as an EDC.

Are your handles all black like the website shows or are the yellow and black like other ram horn knives i've seen?
