Custom Shop 112 Marking ?

well folks they will start being made soon!
yes the long awaited Custom Shop 112 Rangers!
however it was the thought of the CS to not mark them.
many of you said you wanted at least some kind of mark even if it is a dot!
well grape vine has it that the idea of some kind of a noticeable difference
might could be made on the CS112..
at the least it will be brought up to discuss..
but what ...?
i have out lined several possible ideas..
the easy ones are like a inverted stamp
or no year mark
or year mark in front of the 112...
or normaly tang stamped but on the off side
dots before the 112 have been suggested these could be like : or " or ' or *
but these may require a stamp to be made - i dont know..
custom like on the 110 i dont think is easy but i dont know..
heck it would also be easy to stamp them 110 custom !!
but gee would you guys go for that..i did not think so
ideas are welcome to be posted ...
heck i even included a no diff tag you could vote on!
i am posting the poll here as i know of no other location that you would learn of a CS 112 but here.. so all of you that ordered a 112 likely learned of them here!! SO >>>

wow wish i had thought of that one!! would have been cool!
i am not sure why it was only announced it here and not on the web site..
i dont know..
if it was because we were so passionate and asked so often and we are mostly cheer leaders here and this was a reward ...
or if we are like some lab mice were they hold out the cheese to see how many buck nuts come after it that way they can mathematically calculate scientifically fer a fact jest how many of the rest of the world might order one if'n they knew of it.. well it could be couldn't it? ...
or if they jest did it to shut us up.. :foot:

I still say this is what I want on my five 112's. I don't need it to have 112 on it. I know Buck has the left side stamp already so it should be easy to do.

I'd like to see....Designers Choice.....NOT on any CS knife. That's the only thing that makes me want to :barf: when I look at my CS 110s. I asked about not having it on one of my orders, but was told no go on that. Personally, I hate it. :barf:

I like the 'custom' stamp like the 110 BUT any mark is ok with me... Thanks again for making me one !!!!!!!! [or two rather..] I just hope you will do it again next year when ,hopefully,I can afford to buy a bunch!! Like a dozen or more!! I am getting a Koa and Smooth horn..

some how i am surprised that there 2 votes for nothing at all
and 4 for the tang stamp to be completely on the back!

wish i had remembered to ask on English script lettering !
seems i recalled several liking that..

Me thinks Dave gave to many options in a survey to a get clear preference ....remember that the number of individuals that put in orders is quite small (approx 60 knives). I know of one individual that ordered nine. I ordered 5, warriorsocioligist-3 or four.

So the survey number of 18 individual just may be everybody. Dave if your Buck and you look at this Survey...What do you Do?

yea i agree
i give to many options in all my surveys..
it is not the highest that may win or get done ..
but to show that + 90 % want SOMETHING diff on the CS112 and
which is most wanted and which will do..

but i think it was more then 70 knives ordered..
and yes many ordered more then one
which is why i let more then one choice
i will let this ride another day or two and then
send the results to one very busy guy at the custom shop desk..
he said he was going to speak one more time in favor of some thing..
