Custom Shop 112's

I missed the last run of CS 112's (back in 2008) by just a few months. By the time I called, they said no more, and then talked me into the BCCI 110 (with the BG-42 blade and the G10 handles), which I love, but can't bear to take out of the box.

Any one have any idea when the CS will do another run of 112's? I'm going to order at least 2 this time.

If Buck EVER opens up the custom shop for 112's again I'll be first in line...But you can always call Leroy at RRR knives and he can make you one..I have about 10 of his in my collection including a twin bladed 112..Watch E;bay really close only around 100 were made.Paperwork and box are REAL important if you run into one..I have seen about 7 for sale all together..Rare for sure..

Yes it was a sweet moment in time when the CS allowed us to order 112's in the same style of the CS 110's. Bsway, let us know here at the forum that the option was open and I got these two, a rammy S30V and a Sambar S30V

Nice 112s JB.... Next time I'm going to get one.... I sure hope there will be a next time... ITE ... :eek: :( :)
 
Those two 112s are gorgeous!I've also lamented the fact that the 112s were'nt a regular CS offering.I'll bet Buck could sell tons of them.Count me in for a couple if they ever do.
 
humm to bad i cannot tell what i thought i heard some place...
but i will say it is possible that it "may" happen again
along with one new steel choice
 
Even with 3-5 months of asking,begging,hoping,on the forum for Buck to give us custom shop 112's but with nothing 'official' on Bucks web site only 100 or so orders were filled....I bought 2,but just 100 orders doesn't give Buck much reason to set up all the things needed to make a run.Most special project runs are larger[250 to 500].If Buck can make even a small profit I think they will do it for us again...We can not expect them to take a loss..MAYBE JUST MAYBE!
