The AK is my most all time favorite of any Busse knife/chopper/sword.

Im was wondering if they ever made any in the g-rexed/mammoth handles with satin blade? If so anyone got one theyd post a pic of please:)
 
I have done some with wood and grex bolsters. Finding a piece of mammoth tooth that long would really be a challenge though. That stuff is getting harder and harder to get and in that length I do not know if it could be found.

I guess that makes sense, I never thought about the fact of how long the handle is. But ohhh wow how beautiful that would be.:)

Yes, it might well look very pretty, but I wonder what having that much of what is in effect stone would do to the balance of your sword. G-10 is heavy, but it ain't stone. I may look at this differently given that I train in two koryu. If it is a wallhanger, then all is well!

AFAIK, That is a one of only two made. I had Garth make me two that matched the Easton Show special set which was the first satin HH, a saber ground SJTAC, and the saber ground Meaner St. These were the first blades released with this Busse logo ( other than a couple coated blades that came from KC)

Its all good. I remember one time in the blind there were so many ducks coming in seconds before time to shoot...

Trying to get ready I just kept spinning round in circles cause they were everywhere:thumbup:

If mammoth isn't a possibility then the wood handles that Garth has done are really beautiful!

The longer blade with the finger grooves in that pic is the Dragon's Fang.

My favorites is the Short Butaniku! I have one of these on order with the Custom Shop... photos to come in a few months when it arrives :D
