Custom Shop alterations?

Has any one sent their Busse's into the custom shop to have major alterations done to a blade shape/profile or make a handle more comfortable ect. by grinding off significant portions of the overall knife shape/pattern? if so please post pic's and tell what you had done and how it turned out for you. If the Busse crew read's this could you tell us how it would work if we sent a blade in, or what changes and how extreme you would be willing to change a blade we sent in?

Your best bet is to send Garth garth@bussecombat.com a specific e-mail on what you would like done. :):)

thank's for the head's up Amy, I don't have a specific knife in mind right now just tossing around a few idea's. also wanted to see some member's knives that have been sent in and how they turned out. Will try to see you guy's in Easton

I gotta send Garth an email to see if he will throw some bama clay on my killa zilla. Rght now it's satin/black paper, and who would want a combo like that?? :rolleyes: ;) :D
 
as nice as bama clay is, covering up the beautiful satin finish on the killa is sacreligious but if you go that route pic's are a must!

I know, but I love the reactions I get from the satin/black paper guys.



Next I'm gonna suggest removing the snakeskin micarta from my Mr. Mojo and replacing it with some Kraton from Cold Steel :foot::D

Maybe you could just duct tape over it.

hmmm... maybe Garth could take my Uncle Mojo and grind the handle down to an EU version. :D
 
Resin, that's the kind of mod's I am talking about. I know you are looking for a EU Uncle Mojo but if you could get it done by the shop to the regular one you have now it would make life a little better?................Right! Any one have example's of the shop doing something along those line's to any of their blades that can post a pic of? and if so how did it work out for you?, price,time it took,ect
 
I've asked Busse Combat if they would modify the size and shape of the choil on my SAR-4 LE to match the choil on my SAR-8 LE. I'll post info and photos as this project progresses.
