Custom shop blade coating

Lots of good reviews of the coating on AG knives,I am just wondering if anyone has any
experience with the coating that is offered by Bucks custom shop?

The coating in the Custom Shop is Black Oxide. The AG knives have a titanium aluminum nitride coating. They are not the same. Appearance wise, the Black Oxide has matte finish and looks like it was applied to the blade while the TiN is more shinny as if it was part of the metal. The later is most likely the tougher coating by far, but they both look great and they both stay on the blade after much use. That is my experience thus far.
