Got my CS ram's horn, brass, SV30 110 custom today. Very happy with it! Glad folks (Dave) here kept me from walking away from them after the first try!

It is a great looking knife, the brass and the ram go together very well. Sort of gives it the "warm" feeling that I didn't think I would get with the NS bolsters.

May be too pretty to use. Even as I was just examining it a buddy commented from across the room that is was a really good looking knife.

Very happy with it and as I said before a real steal for about $120!

I know folks will want pics. However, it's not an easy thing to do here so I don't think it will happen.
 
I love it when custom shop boxes arrive. The knives inside are even better! Congrats on a great purchase. I almost went with the brass and ram horn. I opted for the NS instead. Don't let that buddy across the room handle it too long.
 
OC, I bet its a beautiful knife... Your right we do want to see some pics... Maybe someday you can post some... I think $120 is a good deal... I'm going to have to get me one soon... I'm glad you got a custom knife that your happy with and I couldn't use it either... :eek:
 
I think it will be for the times when I'm home and want to carry a "dress" belt knife. That isn't often though since I usually have something else on my strong side hip.

May also get a custom sheath for it now. Think that would compliment it well, a brown Vess maybe.

Will keep it sealed up here, I think just a few days of the sand an grit here and it will be "bead blasted" in appearance.

I'll be sure to pass it around a little though. Most people don't know that Buck has this as an option and I'm always willing to help others spend their money :D

ugh ... i dont think he is allowed to send picts from were he is...
all i can say is that i think he is something like 12.5 hrs in time zones away..:eek::(

i likes it best for a supper steel wont rust near water !!
oh yes it is dry there isn't it..
rammy is always good too...does it grip good?
btw ... were is mother goose?
he cant get enough rams horn i recall!
