So, if i design a folder, and i'm willing to pay the $100/Inch, what are my chances of getting the custom shop to make me a folder :)

or maybe the could just make me an INFI blade and i could pay another maker to build it out?

hehe
a while ago when life was better financially i thought about the same thing. my best guess would be :

get a folder you really like
disassemble it
send the blade to custom shop
ask them to make you a copy of that blade in infi
reassemble the knife again with your new blade

let us know how that goes for ya :)

I would like either a zermeno azrael or kershaw JYDII style blade... maybe once i get all my currently ordered blades, i'll call Garth and see if he can make it happen

I've got an article in a magazine from 1997 that talks about a folder, dont be holding your breath.

Is INFI really optomised for small blades? I know it would be a cool thing in and of itself to have an INFI folder, but theres a choice of some great purpose designed folders out there that I might consider first?

Buy a BAD and send it to a custom maker to use the blade in a folder.

Search around.

More than a handfull of custom blades.

buy a FB, send it to a number of makers, they will cut it up, and make you some folders.

If I remember correctly Ronny Bear has a few?

Basic, Fancy, Auto, you name it. (These are not my knives, or my photo's, just some great ones I snagged pics off of here to stare at).

I believe this is a factory handle, retrofitted.
