Hi, some time ago, I don't remember where, I saw a neat picture of a custom shop GW, that was double edged (or false edge on the back) with serrations (I think they are called nuclear). I really liked it. I was wondering if anybody has that GW, or any other custom GW's and can post some pictures here, I'm thinking sending mine to the custom shop for some mods.

Also what's the average turn around time for custom shop mod orders besides the standard two weeks.

This one? :)

oohh.... I hate you man in the outmost hogish, and friendly way.

Is it false edge on the back? or sharpened?
Would those mosaik pins look well with black/tan g-10?
Will I ever be not broke?

Thanxx...I think!! ;) :D:D Was this the one you saw before? I haven't seen any others that I know of, but it can't be the only one.

I don't think so, the one I saw wasn't as fancy. it didn't have mosaic pins it had regular handles, the only mods were done to the blade. Also I think it had more symmetrical grind.

I just noticed that you added to your other post...

The top grind is sharpened... No real point having serrations on a false edge unless you wish to EDC it and your state bans carrying 'daggers'. I can't carry this one in PA.

If the B&T G-10 is more black & white, I'd say yes, but if more tan, I might be tempted to get black mosaic pins instead. Both would probably work either way though.

Question 3... Not if ya keep buyin' Busse!! ;) :D:D

Also, both edges are hollow ground, if you were wondering, or considering options for yours. It's sharp as heck! :)

mine is a lot more white then anything else

btw do you have a picture of black pins I was thinking going with those if I get the funds.
How much do you think its going to cost me to mod mine in a similar fashion, but i want to keep my scales.

I think in California I can carry one, so I'm gonna be nice and let you send it over so it doesn't waste your space. I believe you have my address.

Uh, huh... ;) You want that when? :D

the nuclear top thing does look really cool but I would think it would be for more looks than usefulness??

Oh and volk my brother cali and Mass are the two stes you can't buy or carry anything that looks as cool as that lol. here in Mass anything with a double edge is prohibited as "a dangerous weapon" an illegal to carry along with brass knuckles, switchblades, nunchucks ect...
JUST don't want to see you get jammed up legally...cali and mass are mirror image weapon laws..notice all knife, gun, and ammo sites site NO SHIPPING TO MA OR CA!!

J Ps not trying to keep jaxx from sending you those free knives just leave em at home lol

That's "Two Weeks"!! LOL ;):D:D

And so, the waiting game begins!!!
Oh, and that doesn't count as my pick out of your collection, just a nice gesture to relieve you of your burden.

J, serrations do have their uses, your bread knife has them for a reason. However I'm a firm believer that serration should be closer to the tip of the blade rather then in first half of it. Most Busse nuclear blades are serrated in just such a fashion. A double edged design makes it more of a fighter blade therefore serrations on one side leave a plain edge for more utilitarian all around use. having both on a short blade is a plus. But then again thats my preference. If I manage to trade my ASH-1 for BWM, in the future I'll also try to get the curved part serrated, and add a penetrator tip.

I looked it up, looks to be in the clear. (except it can't be concealed)
here it is

13.62.010 Knives and daggers defined.

As used in this chapter, the terms “knives and daggers” shall include any knife having a blade of three inches or more in length; any spring-blade, switch-blade or snap-blade knife; any knife any blade of which is automatically released by a spring mechanism or other mechanical device; any ice pick or similar sharp stabbing tool; any straight-edge razor or any razor blade fitted to a handle.

I'm still waiting for my half of the bargain... Have not heard from Ms. Lily so far, LOL! :p

And to be clear, that would be...

Only Garth can quote you an accurate price, and honestly, I haven't a clue. What I'm wondering is since the mosaic pins are narrower in diameter, will he still be able to use those scales, or even that knife (mebbe the knife, but I think that the holes in the scales are too big)...but again, that's a Custom Shop question.

Hmmmm, black pins, lemme see... OK, here's one with 'em:

good points there, I really like my handles, so if I'm gonna go through with mods, I'm gonna stick with them if I can't get those pins.

And yes i'm working on Lily.

Volk, looks like you did your homework..good news then, I stand happily corrected! Just wouldn't want to see a bf brother in jam over nonsense.
Damn jaxx my eyes are twitching between your knives and miss lily!! Damn it you know I have a crush on all the chicks on lost!!!
