Worth the wait, posted estimate of 4-6 weeks was right on. 4 weeks, 2 days to receive shipping notice. Shown with my other expensive 110s.

Buffalo horn handles, nickel bolsters, mirror polished 420 blade and brown sheath. I think elk will be next.

Have wanted a buffalo handled 110 since long before the Idaho move but never got around to ordering one(when I found out about the custom shop I browsed the net with a WebTV if that tells you anything about timeframe).

I have a chance to trade a Dave Yellowhorse 314 trapper NIB with the velvet pouch for a Custom Shop 110 with nickel silver, S30V blade ,and either Walnut or Ironwood. I'm really torn as I like the 314 and never seen one before. I've never owned a true CS 110 and never used a Buck in S30V. My brother has a 111 in ironwood but he didn't want to let go of a 112 of equal value as his wife now collects 112's. Just send me cash lol! I did have the first and last CS 112 from the limited run back in 2008 or so but the last one in nickel silver, buffalo horn and partial chip flint serrationed blade is MIA at the house. I'm hoping to see it on ebay so I get a chance to put it back in the collection. Bucks custom shop is by far the best way to get exactly what you want. As soon as I have my Buck budget back up I'll order a new 112! I love to play on Bucks build it page. I wonder if S30V can be mirror polished? If so I'll get it done by Leroy. I'm really hoping Buck will offer a custom auto 112 someday but if not I'll have one converted . Custom shop 110's hold there value well and I'm so glad the 112 made it to Bucks CS. I would love to see more options, even expensive ones.

I want a Yellowhorse knife in the worst way-still kicking myself for not buying one at the Crazy Horse memorial 12 years ago. Don't remember the model but it was a fixed blade with included display. Something like $250 at the time.

It's funny so few Yellowhorse knives are used but I understand as value would drop by 1/3 on the first use. If you watch ebay carefully you can make a low offer on one you like when it's first listed or even after if it didn't sell. Folks that don't sell knives often set a unrealistic price and don't get any offers. And some just don't have a lot of money in a Yellowhorse and want a sale badly. .

Looks great. Maybe it looks different because of the camera angle and the mirror polish. I have the same combination, except a 420 black oxide blade. Love it. Congrats on your new knife!

The customs having 3 rivets instead of 4 gives them a "different" look, and the polishing softens the transitions where angles change. Combination of both maybe?
I just realized what threw me off, it's the more pointy looking corner of the front bolster.
