When I first got my BATACLE, I did NOT want to use it at all. Then I traded some things for a Nuke Badger (and a Cultie), and now I'll gladly use the LE, but not the Nuke (being that it's a beautiful custom knife). How many of you people actually carry/use custom shop knives (besides Cultelli)? If you DO use any of your customs, go ahead and post some pics, please!:D (You know we all love Busse porn!)

Posted this a few weeks back- but the ultimate custom shop user--

I don't really have safe queens but most reside there just because I've just collected too many, and don't need to use each and every one!

It's all Jerry's fault! They're all so exceptional, I can't help but buy them whenever a new model shows up!

It depends on your collection. If you have many Custom Shops it would be retarded to use them all. If you buy one custom shop with the intent to use then go for it! I prefer to use the regular production runs, same quality, less guilt :D

I use my customs. Custom SFNO, Custom ASH-1, and Custom AD. It actually feels really good to use 'em!!

I don't own a Busse custom yet but some day I will and it will be beaten to within a inch of my life.

I have had some other customs over the years and have always used them, in fact the only knives I own that haven't seen use are in displays and were gifts, and judging by their looks I'd probably break them in short order so they stay eye candy.

I totally understand not using a custom, especially if you have a boat load, I'm just not on that boat.

LUV it Uncle J!!!!!!

Crushing Bravado's Heart;)

Thanks T. !

When I first got into Busses I really did not use any....
Pointless and boring just to let them sit in my drawer collecting that dust.
If it is a rare and desirable custom blade some scratches and scuff don't hurt the value too much.. never lost $ selling a used Custom shop...
Cultellus is a different story...:foot:
I still have a few non users. ie. BARF. but that blade is not intended to chop and hack, its just a straight fighter.

Uncle J Love the NICK chopping the tree down. Thats awesome.

yea.... It was a pleasure using it in the woods.
It only took around 12-16 chops to down each of those trees..
My FFBM took the same amount of chops to down a tree similar size:confused::confused::confused:.. go figure ... xxxl nick kicks a s s ...

Use them, they were meant to be used. I use or have used all of mine, and I think at this point I actually have more custom shop blades than the rest. My CS snakeskin AD is my daily user.

I only have one I haven't used yet and I know Xaman's waiting to see some pics of it used. :D (Edit: Actually 2, another CS Meaner that Xaman's familiar with :D )

I really don't fit in any of those groups.

I use the ones I like... and usually have a safe queen to match.

Foo - your misfit collector. :D

.

I'm in that gray area too Foo :D

I have more CG safe queens than CS's, but I don't have many high end customs either.

One of my primary users is a one off CS. Whether or not a knife gets to be a user depends more on the knife then on the logo.

i went with #2.

but i have knives i havent used yet, though they aren't technically safe queens. just havent had the opportunity.

whether or not they are custom shop models is irrelevant to me. like foo, i use the ones i like, but i cant afford to have a match for the safe.

Morimotom,

I hear you and Foo. Makes sense to me. Now can someone explain to me what use a NUKE knife would have, really? Seems to me (and I own one) that they are more aesthetic in design, than functional...but then again, I am not a HEAVY knife user.
