Custom Shop Liner Colors - Pics Needed

I'm getting ready to send my Boss Jack in for some liners, but I'm having a hard time choosing the color. I know they have these colors available: blue, red, white, yellow, green and black. Unfortunately, I have no clue what shade each is, and that makes a big difference. For instance, is the blue baby blue, sky blue, navy blue?

Anyone have any pics of liners you had the Custom Shop install on your Busse? Care to share?

Thanks in advance!

The blue is blue... In the neighborhood of royal blue. White is white, there's plenty of shots of red liners around here, I haven't seen green...
Just keep in mind that the shade may vary a little from one sheet of G-10 to the next.

Here's yellow. In natural light, it pops just a bit more vivid "yellow" than seen here, where it is a bit subdued.

Thanks Jaxx! Also a little advice - I'm doing this to help the knife fill my hand a little better. The liners seem a little thin - would double-liners be need to make a noticeable difference? I don't want to make it too thick at the same time..

Being as I don't have your hands, that's advice I can't give...but:
I will say that in my hands (I have medium palms, and slightly longer fingers... Can fit a med. glove, but the fingers are always just a tad short, whereas a lg. glove is a bit big but the fingers fit.) with one set of liners, the difference is subtle, but noticeable to me on the BJ, more noticeable to me on the AD and Mr., and although the grips without liners are good to me, even on the thin BJLE, I do appreciate the little extra thickness the single set of liners give to the handle. As for a double set of liners... I don't know. I don't think I'd need them, but I do recall someone here had that guy, George do a double set on a BJ or BS and they loved it... I don't think that a double set would be too much as far as in the hand goes...

Hope this helps! :)

I take a size LG glove and I had one set of liners put in my BJLE and am having one set put in the CGBJ as well.

As to the color- that depends if you want the liners to pop out when you look at your knife. Blue liners against black paper or g10- you can barely see but yellow or white ones pop quite well.

As far as being "true" colors they all look good, my exception is the green which always looked kind of "minty" to me.....but it could be the pictures as well.

I didn't feel the need for liners on the CABS of any TAC handled blade or under the handshaped slabs of either NMSFNO

The difference with liners is subtle- but does go a long ways.

I'd try one set of liners first- then if you aren't happy you can always add another set.

Yep the blue is blue blue and its nice. THe green is nice. I had it on a FSH but dont have a pic. Its a green green like the blue where it has a nice pop. Not to dark and not too light. THe yellow is Busse yellow. I think the red is Bulldog Red:cool:

I will try and find some pics ...its like a needle in a haystack.:D

Great, thanks for all the input and info! And Jaxx, thanks for the awesome pics!! I think I'm going with one set of liners for now - it should do it.

I really like the yellow with the black, but I have the Boss Street Proto with a very gray looking micarta. I'm thinking the blue may be the way to go..

Damn Jaxx, those Boss Jacks are awesome

The Blue liners are very nice, despite my bad pic of them, and colored like the darkest parts of normal blue/black handles in the bottom pic.

I have to admit I was skeptical about the blue liners on orange and black handles at first but after seeing it I was really impressed with the look.

Jaxx, those Boss Jacks turned out pretty feakin sweet. Really a great set.

A couple of liner colors that I also like but weren't mentioned in the list of currently available options.
