Custom Shop mini grip

I’ve never ordered from the custom shop before but with Covid boredom setting in about a month ago I placed an order for a mini grip with black G10 and 20cv. It arrived yesterday and I’m quite happy. Perfect centering, no blade play whatsoever, all is nice and tight. The axis lock is just a tiny bit gritty but I’m confident that’ll go away with break in. I always have my kit out when a new knife comes in to make adjustments and get it to my liking but there really wasn’t much to do with this one!

Nice looking and good to see no QC issues.
Been thinking about ordering a small grip with blue g10 but kinda on the fence.
Did it take a month to get?

Hi Cody, actually took 25 days from the order date until I received it.

Nice custom. I’ve noticed with new axis lock knives they’re a bit stiff. I apply a bit of KPL to the lock area and pivot and within a day or so they smooth out nicely.

Thanks, I might just dab some nano oil in there. I’ve been working it and it’s definitely smoothed up a bit.
