custom shop question

I want to have a couple CKS knives done to celebrate the birth of my nephew but cant decide between oak and walnut. Does anyone have pics they could share to help me? In everyones opinion are the custom scales much nicer than the factory ones. Thanks much in advace for any help.

Here is a quick pic, indoor lighting at night, of two recent 112's oak (pinned) and walnut. The pic doesn't really do justice to the oak; both woods look great.

You asked and I didn't mention, the standard factory scales on my other 112's & 110 are fine & some look really good. The Custom Shop options are extra goodness.
