Hello im new to swamp rat knives and i see on there site the custom shop is down but i have read a few members claiming to order custom shop blades, so my question is can we order custom shop RMDs from the swamp or are they only second hand now that the custom shop is down on the website?

Thanks for the help and feel free to post some pics of different custom shop blades.

Here is my full height flat grind custom shop RMD with green and black G10. I havent been able to find many like this and cant really find the specs for this knife anywhere. are the specs posted somewhere? Thanks again

That sure is a beauty. You can still order customs. Just shoot an email to ratcustomerservice@toast.net with what you are looking for. If my memory serves me right those were .160 thick. Slightly thinner than the combat grade RMD and of coarse showing the sexy naked steel.
 
Nice. Any who want to see the majority of my Custom Shop Rats can see them posted in the Swamp.

Hint, it's another Website with a few very fine people that contribute to it. Me not counted among the "fine". :)

Well, because of this thread. I am now on the list for a Full Flat Ground Rodent Solution with black micarta and a satin finish from the custom shop.

I wish I had not looked at this thread.... no... really I wish I had not.... the NEED to place my order for a RMD with Black and Tan G10 is almost overwhelming...... !!! Had I not spent over $1K on a camera lens just yesterday there would be no question..... :(

Well.... the ones of things a bit further away should... ;) Nikon 80-400VR. A bit heavy/bulky but should be good for the "still breathing critter pics" ... I am bush for a week from Friday BTW... ;)
 
Andy you take some amazing pics. I can't imagine them getting better. I also can't wait. :thumbup:
 
Nah..... waterproof bags are great.... they have had around 4inches of rain where I am heading... so the creek(s) should be flowing... :)
