Custom Shop Users?

Does anybody have a Custom Shop blade in regular use? I've got a 3C Ganzaa FSH coming (my second Busse after a GW from Guyon) and I had intended on using it.

I'm not much of a collector in the safe queen - wall hanger sense, and so far all my knives have had to earn their keep. Now I'm trying to decide whether to trade the FSH for a CG FFBM or to just take the custom shop blade out back as soon as it arrives and chop down a tree or two.

Has anyone else had to make this decision or are the Custom Shop blades usually stuck in the sock drawer?

I've got a 1 of 14 clip point NO-e in a passaround right now getting all sorts of use.
 
Jason showd'us plenty of pix of him hackin up his stump with his FBM Proto. That's sorta a Custom Shop knife.
 
I have this AD (top one of the two) that I just got that I used for the first time on a four day back pack trip; and I intend to use it for a long time.:thumbup:

I also use the two custom Wardens that I have; Buffalo and Ram’s Horn.

I have a few CS blades I use. The original run AD, Desert Anorexic Badger Attack, SH-E Variant, Pepper Shaker and I am sure there are more. Sorry No pics right now.
 
A lot of the customs have unique features that make them even more usable than standard production Busses.
 
A CS user AD, with larger finger choil. I like it so much that I recently sent in a LrMr LE to get a similar choil mod done. :thumbup:

I got a 7g coming from the ganza, it will either be a user, or I will sell it. A Busse should be used or sold to someone who will imo. Using a knife is the greatest complement that a maker can get imo. Preservation has its place, but using is the best measure of a knife.
 
Two of my primary users are out of the Custom Shop:

I am giving serious thought to using the 4A BATAC custom that is on its way to me....

Here is my custom shop SFNO. It has seen alot of abuse. My Busses are al users even the custom shop blades. I would say use that custom shop FSH!

I've got a Custom Shop AD from the first run, a 1 of 3 with a full flat grind, done by Jerry that is a user.

I also have an Assault Shaker that was custom ground that is a heavy duty user, it has been used a ton and shows it.

Not sure, I've always thought :confused: that all of the ABA's (Anorexic = .150" for the newbs) came out of the Custom shop, the ABA's I have owned had the CS logo. I have seen a sterile DABA, sounds like you have one.

here is mine (second from top)... it has a logo but not a "custom shop logo":confused:

edit: I forgot that the Snake AD is a "custom" so there is another user. :-)
