Whats the avg. waiting period on a 110 from the custom shop.

If it's BG-42 you want....forever I spoke with Pete today...BG-42 is gone. Turn-around on my last order was about a week until it shipped, same for a friend I spoke to yesterday:thumbup:

The wait depends on what you order.

Lately it's been a few weeks on most things except for the folks that are still waiting for the Damascus.

I changed my order when I heard they didn't have any more Damascus in house and I just got my BG-42 Elk 110 today.

It's a beautiful knife, perfect in every way.

FYI, I ordered two on June 1 or 2, and the first was ready in two weeks.

The second is the one I changed the order on and just got today......they have had people on vacation in the Custom Shoppe and I was advised that would slow the second one down a little.

Luckily, I did manage to get two in BG-42 before the end came.

Whatever the wait, it's always worth it at these prices, and the current prices will be going up, no doubt, so now is the time to buy.

No doubt they get a little ahead on some of the basic models......they know they're gonna get orders for them.

Yup, I imagine that would do it. I am just glad that I got my BG-42 Brass Horn order, in under the wire.

I sure hope that we get another couple of steel choices. ATS-34 and/or CPM154 would be welcome.

Well I put in my order for two BG-42 110's earlier this week and Pete didn't say anything about BG-42 and took the order. Nor has he called. I must have got some of the very last. That was close!

I am glad to have gotten them before the end. But, that said, I like S30V so on to it we go on the next order.

BTW, Just got in a Jigged Buffalo, NC, Mirror Finish 420hc in from the same guy that I bought the drop points from. I am extremely impressed with this knife. Way better than I expected...the feel of the inlay in my hand is fantastic.
