Hey guys, I'm thinking of getting something made for me by the custom shop.

probably a thin (.125) GW or AD if they let me. rams horn handle or something similar, with some liners like the red linings on a GW I saw in the sale forum.

So do I email Busse Combat or the Company Store?

Do they have a price listing of what these things cost or do they quote after I tell em what I want.

Cheers guys

Just tell Garth what you need via this email address: garth@bussecombat.com, and he will take care of you. I am in the middle of having them make me a custom, and for how hard it is at times to get a production Busse, I have been suprised how easy the process is to get a Custom one.:)

I'll just say be prepared to wait.
Depending on what you order it could take 1 - 2 years.

Is there any way to get an idea of cost before calling or emailing? I'd like to see a form with some options and pricing. Anyone know if the custom shop will make older/discontinued styles?

That's what I figured but I was quoted 3-6 weeks ...but it's based off a badger and was told they had those blanks in stock so it wouldn't take that long. Can't wait...it's my first custom (but surely not the last)

I really don't think they have a form for options. The more wise and experienced hogs in here can correct me if I'm wrong. Just look around in the picture thread or anywhere in the busse forum here and get some ideas and just email Garth. He is plenty helpful and will tell you what will work and what won't. I think there was a thread here not to long ago that mentioned what the average price was per inch for a custom...

If I remember correctly, it was $100.00 per inch for a custom including blade and handle with thickness, serrations, and satin or double cut finish extra.

Sag.
