Custom Shop...?

I was told by the office at Busse Combat to email the custom shop to talk with them about putting in an order, so I did that twice in the last 2 weeks but have no response as of yet. Several people have told me they take awhile to respond and I figured maybe even moreso due to the holidays. But does anybody know if this is the right or only way of doing a custom order? I wrote the email to garth@bussecombat.com, maybe this isn't the right address? i don't want to keep bothering the office, they seem very busy there.
Any suggestions? Maybe I should try a different approach? Has anyone called the Custom shop? The office told me the email way was best.

I sent an e-mail to Garth as well, but I never got a reply. Contacting the office (Amy, Lexi) has always worked for me. Sometimes it takes a while because they do need to talk to Garth to get answers for some things, but they will take good care of you! And because they need to talk to Garth sometimes, I just e-mail them. Seems less "urgent" to me than making a phone call. They've always gotten back to me.

Ok, I talked with Amy, and as I suspected Garth was out with the Flu, and on top of the holiday shedule he is behind. He just got back in today and is getting caught up.
Thanks folks for helping me ease my anxieties, this custom Busse is my Xmas gift to me from my wife. I know it won't be done before Xmas, but it still feels good to have it on order. i'm sure you know the feeling.
Happy holidays!

I totally know what you mean. But I second guess my decisions often so I'm usually calling back with changes. I worry sometimes that I'm bothering them but they've always been nice.

I've emailed a few times myself for a few different things over the years and never heard back. Amy and lexi are awesome on the phone a always, but the custom shop has been a challenge.

Cool! I sent another email shortly after last post and Garth has aleady got back to me and we're creating my order. It will be a merry Xmas.

Sorry everybody, It has been crazy busy around here and then the flu just kicked my butt for a few days. I am trying to get caught back up and hopefully stay on top of things. If I missed anyone's emails please send them again and I will get back with you ASAP.

Up and running again,
Garth

Glad you're feeling better, Garth. Haven't seen you here on the forums for a LONG time!

I'm convinced that the custom shop is a shed filled with booze. There's a sign above the door that reads, "enter at your own risk." One day I hope to visit it.

Sorry you got the flu during the holidays. Hope I didn't put any heat on you with my post. But thanks for helping me with my order sir.

Close. Its a shed filled with knife makers full of booze. Not even aloud through the door if you don't have a drink in hand.

Interesting... "calling Amy" comes up in the thread and Garth appears. Visions of the "I'm not touching you! I'm not touching you! I'm not touching you! I'm not touching you!" dance are coming to mind. Garth does NOT want that!

Hope you're feeling better, brother!

I'm guessing it was the holiday Blue flu. As in Johnnie Walker Blue.

Glad you're feeling better brother.

Nobody is ever a bother! You can call just to say hello if you want, we enjoy our customers!
P.S. you do second guess yourself alot but that is how you end up with exactly what you want.:) No harm in that.
