Custom Shoppe Mother of Pearl

Has anybody ever gotten pearl handle scales from the custom shoppe? If you have what was the quality? Did you like it? I'm collecting money from the football team at my school. We are going to buy our coach a DUC custom 110. Pics are always welcome and thanks.
 
Since you mention a 110, I assume you are referring to the Buck Custom Shop, although I don't know what you mean by a DUC. But, in answer to your question, yes, I have seen a mother of pearl handled 110 and it looks great, but be sure you also order the mirrow polished blade with it as it really sets those pearl handles off.
 
Yes I do mean Buck Custom Shoppe sorry about that. I'm ordering the mirror polished blade and the nickel silver bolsters. I'm also getting his initials engraved is the front bolster's and the year 2007-08 engraved on the rear. I'm also getting Coach engraved on the blade. Dress Up Carry
 
Gotta admit the DUC had me scratchin' head too. I remember some of us clowns using terms like barbeque knives or special occassion EDC....maybe DUC can fit too? Then there is Sunday-go-to-meetin' knives and .....
Nice choice on the styling of the Custom gift 110! There is an engraving thread here somewhere in the Buck forum that has some pix of the bolster work done in-house. My Custom Design 110 wears the said engraving and I really like the personalization of it!

D.U.C......DRESS UP CARRY !!!!!!!!! I coined that term bout a month ago (mabe not the first) I hoped it could be a small contrubtion to the forum, and it sounded neat......And its what I do....My DUC now is my 111 BCCI club knife.I cut off the top of the sheath so the NS bolsters and a little of the horn would show.
 
MOP = hubba hubba hubba!
i cant talk of the MOP 110 ...
i want one so bad i drull all over the key board... :(
 
D.U.C. dress up carry kinda like a barbe-Q knife I always take one of my best
blades to a barbe-Q just as a conversation starter.Hey this my (112)th post

Hi Texasboy; i had the Custom Shop make a 110 MOP with a Damascus blade and nickel silver bolsters a couple of months ago and it is outstanding. I'll see if i can attach a pic or two of it so you can see what a great job they did. Gods Blessings to all.

Thanks for the picture tatoo. Buck 110 I'm not getting rivets. I don't like the way they look with the MOP scales.

Hi Texasboy; you are most welcome. I have to agree with you that pins or rivets would ruin the look of the Mother of Pearl scales. The Custom Shop sure is doing some outstanding work and thanks to all involved. Good luck on your knife Texasboy, i'm sure it will look great. Gods Blessings to all.
