Custom Shun knife stand

I don't really know where to put this but it's for a Shun kitchen knife so maybe this is the right place.

I custom made this stand for a member from another forum. Thought maybe some of y'all would like to see it.
Base - Live Oak.
Uprights - Bamboo.
Base dimensions are 6" by 16"

The live oak was cut, milled and dried here.
I cut the bamboo here a few years ago. It was allowed to naturally dry in my barn.
There are no metal fasteners in the whole thing. It is pinned with bamboo pegs and glued with waterproof glue.
It was a fun challenge.

That's what the guy I made it for said.

I make what the materials tell my hands to make.
If I think about it too much my head just hurts, nothing else.
