i have seen polished g10 handle and cg handle on this forum for skyline. does anyone else have custom scales for skyline? i'm thinking about turning it into poor man's gent folder.

I have a couple ideas on the drawing board for mine, to spruce it up. Should make for a nice gentlemans folder when I'm done. I don't know why more people don't try mods to this knife, simple clean lines are easy to duplicate, cheap price, simple construction, good knife, and easy to work on.

Hope you find what you are looking for, and aren't afraid to try some mods yourself.

Phillip made me some CF scales. I think it brought the knife up to a whole new level.

is that CF scales completely replace G10 that was on it, or it is on top of G10?

Flash, that sure is purdy! The CF compliments the damascus blade nicely. Does it have a pocket clip still? That's a good mod for such a sender knife, fills out the hand but keeps the weight down so you don't forget that its a light duty knife.

Thanks, I plan on painting the liners and screws black when I get my shop put back together (recently moved) and get an airbrush for the Dura Coat. I didn't want a clip on this one, makes it more a gents knife I think. I've got a another Skyline that I picked up from Kershawguy with brown scales and black blade.

sent email to phillip dobson, however, as indicated in this thread, he is not responding. is there someone else who can do the scales for skyline? i'm looking for desert ironwood with pocket clip for right hand and tip up. will need lanyard hole. nothing too fancy, but the wood should be polished. i would like little bump between blade and the fingers, and another bump between index finger and third finger on non-liner side.
