Custom slabs for ck lionsteel Barlow series?

Has anyone done or doing custom materials for the ck lionsteel Barlow set? I’m wondering how my warhorse would look with some amber jigged bone.
 
A great idea.
I don't know anyone doing this. I have thought about doing it myself. I don't have a Shuffler or Dom, but do have a Bolus. I remember a post somewhere where someone asked Mr. Knifeswapper about obtaining extra scales from Lionsteel. I believe his reply was the company didn't offer any and were not interested in doing so. It's too bad as I think that would be a nice option to switch things up once in a while.
It would make these unique knives even more so.

As often as I discuss "deal spotting" not being allowed, in this case I don't really see a conflict with our BF dealers. None of our dealers are selling such covers. Unless Gary feels otherwise, I'm going to leave it be.

(Side note: I won't even spend $160 on a knife, let alone spend that much for fancy covers.)

Thanks, frank. I hadn’t found anything among our dealers but didn’t consider that rule. But I appreciate your thought on that.

haha! I’ve spent MUCH more on knives, but I highly doubt I’ll spend the cost of the knife on covers. But who knows. I’ve had some overtime lately hah!

some one just posted some polished titanium scales for these, still pondering on purchasing one
 
While it's food for thought to have custom slabs on offer, I've always been enthralled by these 'standard' Ram's Horn :cool: If only I could find a dark Ram Bolus ;)
