This is done by a fellow Case collector who has retired from knife making. I have been doing my level best strong arming to get him to just do a few more. I'm sure there are knife makers on this forum who can do it, but after several PM's/emails, I have yet to hear from any of them; I'll assume business is too good for them to find the time to install some of my elephant ivory slabs on a few knives I'd like customized, including a Sodbuster.

I don't know if he's taking orders, but Kerry Hampton makes a particularly nice sodbuster.

Ivory may be a taboo subject for many makers right now, regardless of when the ban will take effect.

I have been looking at getting a custom sodbuster too.

It would be tough to find a better sodbuster than the ones Keith (K.R.) Johnson makes. Terrific build quality on his knives and perfect sodbuster design.

imo, a Soddie is an inexpensive working knife.
But, have fun, you knuts.

I'd love to get my hands on one of Gene Ingrams 'busters.

Not sure if he's going to make anymore or not though.

Inexpensive is relative. Ever gone shopping for a splitback whittler or stockman? Compared to other patterns a custom sodbuster is a bargain.

I'll echo what Trey999 said, Gene Wiseman does really nice, working sodbusters
, in D2.

Keith Johnson, Kerry Hampton, Gene Ingram and J.Oeser all make outstanding custom sodbusters

Christian- No, I never went shopping for those other knife models.
A bargain is a bargain, no? And, what is relative?
